Provincial Council of Valencia

The Roads Department of the Provincial Council of Valencia, which is responsible for the Provincial Council's road network, part of the local road network of the Valencian Community, has the mission of providing an adequate response to the mobility needs of citizens in the province of Valencia, completing the structuring of the territory and ensuring effective and safe connections between small municipalities and regional centres of activity. To this end, it plans, designs and implements new road infrastructure, prioritising sections that eliminate historical isolation and improve territorial, social and economic cohesion. It also maintains and modernises the existing network through maintenance work, with a special focus on road safety and accessibility.
